Problem with adding subtitles with some files

i`m adding subtitles to my all movies but some files show me this messege:

this problem cause to out of sync audio&video.
what can i do?

Are you using Virtual Dub mod?

i tried the regullar virtual dub and virtualdub mp3 freez,
is i need to use virtual dub mod?
i saw in virtual dub mod that ican config the audio because instead of thet there is "streams" in the menu.
what can i do?

Load your video:

1. Select Stream-->Stream list-->Save Wav... name your new wave file.

2. Select Stream-->Stream list-->Add. Add your new wave file. Select it and save your new video under a new name. YOur video now has wave audio.

this will not hurt in the audio quality?

Quality for the most part, is subjective. Why not try it yourself, with a short file, and judge if the quality suffers.

i tried to do it but it not sove the problem.
there is still audio&video sync problem.
