This is my first capture card. Adaptec VideOh! DVD Media Center PCI. My OS is XP.
1)The capture quality from VHS tapes using my vcr is OK. I did notice that the quality from my camcorder (Sony HI8) is still Ok but not as good coming from the vhs tape i was using to test it. I'm guessing that the movie (LOR2) quality on the vhs tape is just better then what my camcorder recoreds at.
2)My main question is: I notice in the Win DVD creator the the capture rate listed on the left below the preview window has a capture rate of 1027KB/sec but the recording level is set for dvd high quality. is there anyway of changing the capture rate to get better quality or is this a limit of the hardware/drivers. I guess I just don't understand why it says it's caputring at 1027KB but recourding the video to disk at 8MB/s. Could anyone explain this to me. Thanks...
