  1. i want to convert a quicktime video clip to an mpeg video. how?? when i tried with tmpgenc, it didnt make any sound... and if i should convert it to wav, how do i do it?

    Hi Jakeman,

    Click on "CONVERT" (in green) to the left and search for MOV to MPG, as Quicktime movies are .mov files.

    Also, try searching the forums for the info. Using keywords like "mov" and "mpg / mpeg" etc.

    Alternatively, you could try mov -> avi -> mpg. This guide...

    ...is listed under "Latest guides, how to's, tutorials and video articles" on the home page of this site, covers mov -> avi. Then do avi -> mpg using TMPGEnc.

    Having not done it, I can't comment on the pitfalls / ease / quality of finished article. All you've got to waste is your time... And probably learn stuff in the process.
