Hi again.
Any one managed to get material out of their 5100H?
I'm running Windows XPpro on a Dell Dimension 8300 (P4) with latest service packs, security patches and DirectX 9.0b.
The only material I can get out of it is NTSC, when trying with PAL I end up with a black preview screen and no frames captured.
The only program that I get an error message from is Scenalyzer it says something like "Capture driver is sending PAL in NTSC frames or vice versa you might want to upgrade DirectX"
Doesn't pioneer follow the DV standard or is it Microsoft that doesn't?

Hi!
I didn't have any problems with the DV-out and PAL material, I've been using an iBook with OS X and iMovie though. -
Look into these things in manual (page 96)
Input Line System
And try to setup (manual page 101)
NTSC on PAL TV to OFFPinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
My mistake... It should be other way arround
Anyway... play with those settings.... and of cource your software have to be able work with PAL

Well I encounter the same problem what ever software I use, as they probably all uses Microsofts standard video capture API, DirectX.
I think the NTSC on PAL TV only affects the analog video output, but I've tried that one too with out success.
