  1. i have an avi file which is qpel, that's what my kiss dp-1000 player when it displays the cannot read message.

how to convert the avi to non-qpel, say deleting the qpel tag in the avi ... and by the way how to detect the qpel in a video file with a windows xp program?

    thanks

  3. I'm having the same problem here too.
Didn't find a solution, so if anyone can help....please tell us.

I've tried converting to XviD, MPEG and even RAW avi, but they all turn out with only sound and a black screen.

  4. YES! I found a way
I've used Dr.DivX to convert the file to 'normal' DivX5, and now I can do with it whatever I want. In my case I converted it to XviD again, since that seems to run smoother on my KiSS DP-1000 than DivX5.
