  1. Hi there,

I am completely new to this and have experienced a couple of problems trying to backup my first DVD movies. I am using a Pioneer A06 with Pinnacle Instant Copy and DVD Shrink.

First attempt: (DVD9-DVD5) used DVD shrink ok, but when trying to copy from HD to DVD using Instant Copy the following message appeared
'Access violation at address 1D1C9293 in module VOBSPLIT2.AX.......'

Next attempt: unchecked the box in DVD Shrink that says 'Split files >1GB'. (Right thing to do??) Instant Copy then froze whilst at the point 'Testing video quality' part 1 of 1 (phase 1/5) 'Analyzing video title set 1 of 1'.

Third attempt: Kept 'split files' box unchecked but used DVD shrink for just the movie, not any extras. This time it started writing but at 93% i got an error message saying something like 'access to file denied' (sorry, clicked ok before i could write it down).

I have just had a look at DVD Decrypter and noticed an exclamation mark in the startup log saying 'DRIVE C:\ (FAT32) does not support files >4GB'. I have an inkling this could have something to do with it but am not sure how to rectify it!

Sorry for my complete lack of knowledge, any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    Yo bitch !

Yep, DVDShrink and nero for me and my 106.

Leave the check box in shrink set. You should get files totalling 4,465.0MB in your output directory.

Use nero and use a DVD-RW until you get the process right.
    If in doubt, Google it.
