Hi, I recently used DVD X MAKER to create a DVD using some mpeg2 movies I had made. I created a MENU and everything was very eaasy.
The problem I have is that after it plays each 'chapter' it returns to the MENU. I can not get it to automatically play each chapter after the other.
I mean everything works except I can't sit back and watch it all without going back to the MENU each time.
Is there an option to make it play all? Or do I did to use another MENU template?
Thanks,
Dan

believe DVD X MAKER is the same as Dazzle's DVD Complete (now defunct).
if so, what you seeing is the way it is designed.
one workaround would be to merge your several movie mpg files into one larger file (using tmpgenc's utilities or such). Then, author that single file via DVD X MAKER and set chapter points to each of your clips.
you could then setup the resulting chapter buttons to your next action preferences while still having the option to play the entire series of clips from the root menu... -
Thanks. I liked how you could rearrange the items on the menu: the buttons, the screens etc.
DVD Maker also did motion menus which was cool---but not to play all the movies at once just doesn't make sense--you wouldn't watch a regular DVD movie like that going back to the menu after each chapter!
So Does TMPGenc DVD AUTHOR make DVDs that DON'T go back to the menu each time?

TDA - I think so. But, I'm a bit unsure as to what you are really looking for.
anyhow, believe you can d/l a 15 day trial ver of TDA to see if it does fit your needs. -
I have used both programs and one problem that I don't like about DVD X Maker is that you have to render every file before you can go to next, but with TMPGEnc DVD you can pick and choose and move your files around and tweak how you want your files before rendering is started and this will save you time and frustration. Both programs have advantages but you need to decide how you want your files organized, and this will help you use the programs to suit your needs.
