    using tmpengc, when I'm in the source-range window, and I set the end frame to 91550(total is 183101), but then it just jumps back to zero. and if I try to drag the pointer to the middle the program freezes...what could cause this?

    The file may be corrupt. Try running DivXRepair against the file. If there are any errors (bad frames, etc.) it should correct them. I always run DivXRepair after downloading and before attempting to work with the file.
