Nero 5.5 crashes when I add mpgs to make vcd

I'm using nero 5.5.10.53 and XP and when adding certain mpgs for burning a vcd, nero just disappears! I've tried different file sizes and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Nero just hangs for a while then just shuts down.

I've had a quick read of the help & guide sections but I can't seem to find anything to help me. Does anyone know what this could be?

I have problems with nero burning room 5.5.9.9. I can add mpgs, but if I try to enable menus, Nero hangs and shuts down... it simply desappears. That started after I installed Nero Vision Express 2. Anyway, I uninstalled both of them, tried to clean windows me registry... nothing. That really sucks! Hope someone can help.

It might be easier if you ditch Nero alltogether and use VCDEasy instead. You can find an older freeware version on this page.
