creating dvds from various mpegs and having a menu

I am new to dvd authoring i know how to create vcds from downloads but my problem is how do i make a dvd disk with a menu and have say 4 vcds or svcds on it ive tried all sorts of different software utilities but still cant get it right also if i make a dvd compliant file and burn it on nero 6 when i play it it freezes now and again

Use Tmpgenc dvd author, I have used this program with some success but I don't necessarilly like it, you can try it though it sounds right down your alley.

Freezing/stuttering/pausing when playing a DVD is down to the media

Change your media ...........

Personal experience has shown that Ritek G04 purple dye has cured my problems with this, and virtually all media sites go on about Ritek's purple dye is the best on the markey for general video use

I've tried Princo, Mirror Platinum, now I'm on Ritek's

Cost more per disk, but from experience is worth that extra outlay

Thanks for the speedy reply but ive tried converting to vcd and tmpeg dvd author wont work either ive also got sonic dvd it PE how long does the whole proccess normally take?

Ive no problem copying a dvd direct disk copy so i know the brand of media is ok
