Not +R, not -R, not -RW, not -RAM ... but DVD+RW
I've got a new APEX DRX-9000 recorder (an awesome machine, better quality than the Panasonics in 4-hour mode with no problems visually), and find myself wanting to use the DVD+RW discs most.
I will copy the DVD+RW to DVD-R when full, so I only need up to 25 of them at most. Prefer a 10-pack.
I don't want to pay more than $3 per disc. But I also don't want junk.
If I walk into a local store (be it Fry's, Best Buy, OfficeMax, etc), what is a good brand (and/or MEDIA ID) that I should look for?
I know all about DVD-R/RW and DVD+R formats, it's the DVD+RW that I never really use, so not sure if the RITEK/MXL/RICOHJPN/TDK crowd exists or is still top dog for the DVD+RW scene.
Help appreciated. Wanting to buy some today or tomorrow. Only have 3 to use at the moment.

Memorex 2.4 +RW, id INFODISC, regular price 25 for $40 at Fry's.
I also picked up a 10 pack of Memorex 4X +RW on sale there for $25 a while back, id RICOHJPN. Regular price is $40-$50.
The last time I bought HP media, it was also RICOHJPN.
All have worked fine in a Philips recorder. -
I have had great sucess using HP DVD+RW RICOHJPNW01 media code, burnt over 20 (mainly video and some data) with no coasters or failed burns, they scratch fairly easily but not if you take care of them, and no more than normal. This particular Ricoh code is 2.4x, the 4x code is RICOHJPNW11 which i know the new fuji+rw discs use, although ive had no experience of. I can recommedn this media, stands up well to rewrites, depends on price, i got a good deal on mine.

I keep writing over both these disks without any problems. the last project put 4.32GB(4.64GB) on the Phillips disk and it played well in my Pioneer deck. -
HP is using CMCMAG for 2.4x DVD+RW at OfficeMax. Yuck.
Back to the store to try again. Gonna go give Fry's a shot.
INFODISC, huh? Anything's better than CMCMAG.
Gonna keep my eye out for the FUJI 4x RICOHJPN. Or the Philips ones.
Thanks. So far.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

The point being that the disk is full nearly to the end and it plays without drop outs. (Phillips 4x RW)
