    It's been a while but I have drawn a blank on how to correct errors in a demuxed audio file which has encoding errors, (clicks, squeaks and the like). I can't re encode as TMPGENC wont open the file(MP2) Could some good soul please point me in the right direction.

    You could load the video into Gold Wave and and select Effects-->
    Filter-->Pops/Clicks. Save the file as a wave, convert to and mp2 and remux it again.
