marked read doesn't work

Something doesn't seem right. Threads that I've read still show as not being read. I click on mark all read read and the red icon still stays red... I've noticed this for the last couple of days...

Cleared my cache and all too...shut down the browser...still no help

Well I get that if I use Safari on the mac but thats it.

Also I think baldrick made some changes recently. They are marked read for me in the specific forum but the forum main page stays the same.

Exactly...inside the forum all threads show as read, but from the page above it, say "other" it will show off topic and computer...etc as having unread messages...

Using IE 6

Actually I just check off topic and the 2 threads that showed being unread I read, so I clicked on mark all threads read, and they still show the red icon. If I go to the page above it "other" is shows off topic as all read....Strange
