  1. Hi,

When I play a DVD I created in Adobe Encore on my DVD player, some of the videos appear very choppy, but when I play the DVD on my computer, the videos appear to be fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help.

I just tried the dvd in my player again and it worked fine. Not sure what happened the first time.

What do you guys think happened?

    Thanks.

Someone else just posted regarding this problem. Look back a few days to see what was said. I think it's just incompatability with the standalone player and your method of burning. Someone else mentioned it could have to do with interlacing. What method are you using to burn? I create the image in Encore and burn with DVD Decrypter, or occasionally make folders with Encore and burn with Nero 5.5.

  4. I just burn the disc using Adobe Encore (File, Build DVD, Make DVD disc...). Do you think this method is not reliable? Should I use another program to burn instead?

    Thanks.

I personnally burn with Nero in the DVD Video mode. This has worked with all DVD players I have tried it with.

  6. OK, I tried saving the image of the dvd in Encore to burn later, but it won't let me make a file size more than 4 gigs.

    Anyway to get around this?

    Thanks.

NTFS file system I think... or use DVD Folders instead of DVD Image. You can always burn DVD folders with Nero's DVD-Video option and it works great with stand-alone players.
