As background music for my family videos I would like to loop instrumental passages from various popular sources rather than use the soulless gunk that comes with video editing software. I use goldwave to capture and edit audio but I think I need something else to do relatively seamless loops. This goal is not worth the price of Acid Pro, etc.
Something in the free to $50.00 range?
Thanks.

do a google search for AcidXpress, it's a freeware version of Acid. It's missing many of the higher-end features, but it should do what you need - you can get your loops arranged and then export them to a .wav file.
