Options Configuration

I Don't know what all the options mean? Like Miltiplexing Win32, Demux Etc.. What options are going to get me the best video and audio?

Also I noticed in some SVCD when I try to skip a chapter it shrinks the screen and the video wil freeze and audio will play??

DEmultiplexing is spliting a mpg in a video part and a audio part. Multiplexing joining video and audio back to 1 mpg. It has nothing to do with the quality, only to do with speed the default settings are the fastest but won't work on all computers. So if the default settings work for you leave them be, you quality will be the same as with the other settings.
