    How can I find out what the bitrate is of a mpegII file a friend gives me ?

    play it in powerdvd ( if u have it ) right click on movie and select 'show information' it will show you bitrate of video & audio. or load up the file in vdubmod

    Thanks for your response....VdubMod shows a bitrate of -385 Kbps/(-44KB/s) ???
