  1. Can anyone tell me the difference between the G03 and G04
From the looks of it the 03 is 2x and and 04 is 4x

Anyone had any problems with the G03 - they are quiet a bit cheaper than the G04

I've been having major problems with Verbatims and from all the posts Ive read Riteks look like a good option. Should I use the 03 or 04's though?

Either one is an excellent choice as long as you get grade A quality Riteks.

Not sure what the difference is, try looking in the DVD Media guide on the left

I'd definately try Ritek's though, I'd use Mirror Platinums in the past, and constantly got the dreaded stuttering/pausing/lock-ups when past the half-way point on the DVD and especially when it was getting close to the edge of the media

Recently got the chance to try out the Ritek's ink jet printables I bought from the local computer supplier I use, who's managed to get one of his suppliers to get Ritek's for a good price

Burnt DVD's so far, both with 2 movies, and the 2nd DVD had the movies running very, very close to the capacity of the media, not delibrate, but it proved it was the media at fault not the player

    Not a single glitch/stutter, nothing

    Well worth the extra outlay

I'm consistantly getting G04's for around $1.00 US delivered. The G03's would have to be significantly cheaper to get me to buy them.

Pray tell where are you getting the G04's for that price, delivered?

Hurry, tell us before this thread (maybe) gets yanked into a different forum.

Thanks for the info. I've ordered from them before. Unfortunately, I need +Rs. Plus, since I'm in CA I get dinged with tax, too.

Now if only I could get +Rs for ~$100 delivered...sigh.

    Sorry, $100 US.

Newegg.com (free shipping) has them. Supermedia has them also, with a $5 discount.

As far as canada goes, the exchange rate makes them what, $140 CA? It's the VAT and provincial tax that kills you. We should meet at the border, I'll give you RITEK's and you give me Cuban cigars? Make sure neither of us any meat sticks :P

Ha! Should've been more, uh, clear. I'm in California. I haven't looked at Newegg.com, but I have never seen the RITEK 4x +Rs that low at Supermedia. Are you talking x2 discs?

Just looked at Newegg and I only found 2.4x discs.
