  1. Hello I've used DVD Shrink and everything works great except there is no sound now. Was I wrong in keeping DTS-6ch English only? Also compressed the video to 20% if that has anything to do with it.

If I need to remove the DTS-6ch English, what do I need to replace it with? The ones that are there are: AC3-6ch English,
    AC3-2ch English and ACT-2ch English
    (why there twice?)

Also is there some way I can just replace it without having to Re-author/back up again?

Using Shrink 2.3.. had problems with 3 beta

  2. Some standalone players are stuborn on the DVD-Video spec that dictates the presence of LPCM or AC3 for NTSC and LPCM,MP2 or AC3 for PAL respectively.

AC3-6CH is probably the one to keep. AC3-2CHs are often for director's comments

  3. Ok thanks heaps for that. Its a shame you can't preview the sound with DVD shrink.

  4. AC3 decoding requires license from Dolby-lab. This is the reason why many products "cannot" play AC3 audio. If DVDShrink has the audio playback feature, it is for sure that it won't be free anymore.

  5. ahhh ok.. is there a program I can use to replace the sound and also preview it? With license from Dolby-lab? Trial program or something?
