  1. I can't decide on which burning software to buy. I am thinking about buying Nero 6 but i've heard that nero has problems with 4x drives, which i have (lite-on 411s). I also am thinking about getting Pinnacle Instant Copy, but I heard it was slow.

Please post the software you use and list the advantages it has over others.

  3. Best is subjective.

I've been using Nero since version 5.0 and have never had a problem with it.

Most come with free trials, so I would go out and download a bunch, test them out and see which ones work and have the features you like.

I'm rather fond of Nero 5.5 myself.

  7. Hi,

I'd go for Nero 6 as the main dish, accompanied by a side order of freeware - either BurnAtOnce or Deep Burner.

My only problems these days with burning dvd's are from the quality of the blanks, never with Nero nor BurnAtOnce. I have tried Record Now Max, but I could get used to it.

  8. I've been using Nero since version 4.? for CD's then started looking for a DVD Writer and came across this site. I read all the bad things about nero and was sure I was going to have to give up my favorite software to burn DVD's. I got my new Pioneer A06 installed fired up nero 6 and burned my very first perfect DVD after using DVDDecrypter and Shrink. I have since burned about twenty perfect copies using Nero and will also continue using it. 8)
