Here's my situation. A friend gave me a 'backup' of 'Lord of the Rings: Return of the King' on DVD. The video looks great, but when I put it in my Toshiba standalone player, I get no audio (this is hooked up to a dolby system via coaxial audio, and the stereo switches to 2-channel stereo but plays nothing). I then put the same DVD in my Xbox, and everything plays perfectly, I get audio. I have NO idea who to fix this one. On a side note, another friend gave me a different version, this one the video isn't quite as good but the audio plays fine on both players. I've never had this problem on my Toshiba.
