Mpg Vcd splitting.......HELP

When splitting a MPG flie to place on two cd-rs, the second file to be placed on the second cd-r will not open in TMPGEnc due to unsupoorted format. Also, when i try to burn with roxio vcd the frame rate and size will not transfer. Basically, i have tried raising the TMPGEnc priority and that will not work. How do i get the 2nd split file to carry on the 1st file's traits?? Please help i am lost!

try using a different software mpeg splitter, this happened to me once, i tried a different splitter and it was fine after that.

what splitter did you go with?

i found the bolisoft mpeg splitter worked well for me, but you can use tmpgnc to split or cut mpeg files too.also womble. and myflix_xe is a mpeg cutter too.

I really like VCDCutter and MPEG-1 Edit Pro... both are accurate softwares, but are not free...

Womble is a good MPEG-1 cutter. Also MPEG-2 cutter, but only from build 08/2003 to newer are accurate ones.
