  1. Hi all,
I've downloaded LOTR-TTT dvd and it has English and Spanish subtitles.
I want to replace the Spanish subtitles with another language subtitles but to keep the original menu (which is a video itself).
I figured the best and easiest way would be to find a tool that can analyze and strip the original disc (all structure including menu, subtitles, video, audio etc), then I'll replace the Spanish sup file with mine, re-create the dvd format and burn. Sound simple, right ? well, I didn't find such tool.
Does anyone know such tool or have an idea/guide for me to use ?

I know how to create a dvd containing the movie, sound and subtitles, but I want to be able to use the original menu with all its inner indexes and chapters (just to replace the subtitle).

    Thanks

You're kidding right? What is wrong with your copy?
    Hello.

  3. Why not just watch the original copy? You DO own the original copy, don't you?

  4. I don't own a copy (I mentioned I downloaded it...).
Why do I want to do it ? first of all, it's a good training if I want to be able to author my own dvds (from home video), and second, you will be amazed to know that not everyone understand English well enough (that's why there are subtitles in the first place).
Now, can you please focus on helping me and not on these remarks ?
    My regards...

I'll be more than happy to help you, hang on, matey. Nice parrot, by the way...
    Hello.

  6. The reason people ask about the remarks is because (as the red and green rules at the top of each message/post state) you can not talk about warez (ie. downloading copyrighted material) on this forum.

You can make a backup of a DVD which you purchased, but no one is (suppose) to help you pirate material you d/load. That might seem like a strange distinction, but the assumation is that all backups are legal.

    Do NOT advocate warez.
