I am quite new at this and was wondering if anyone here as an easy way (guide) on how encode my dvds for backup using the CCE method. I've read quite a bit on it but I can't find an all-in-one guide from start to finish. There just seems to be SO much work involved. I currently transcode my DVDs but I notice that there are quite a few artifacts in some movies and that can get annoying. I've read that by using the CCE method I can do SEVERAL passes of the movie(s) which, in the long run, will result in better video quality. Thanks for your guys help. I really appreciate it!![]()

have not been around in a while, but when I do encoding of DVD's I use DVD DECRYPTER - DVD2DVDR - SUB RIP - plus - SCENARIST to author and sometimes IFO-EDIT.
Thanks alot,

I appreciate the response but what exactly is scenarist? Is this a method using CCE? Thanks again.
