i have found a couple of times that when i do movie only and i keep the subtitles that every now and then the subtitles just come on the screen when the movie starts without me wanting them on, oviously theres no menu as its movie only.

one of my dvd players has a subtitle button on the remote and the other doesn't so it can be a nusence, does anyone know a way to fix this?

Later versions of DVD2One adds a pre-command in the VTS.IFO file to turn off the subtitles at startup. Use IFOEdit to add this command.

    VTS_PGCITI/VTS_PGC_1
1.Pre Command (SetSTN) Set Subpicture Stream: 0 (Off)

If 1 of your players has no subtitle button, how would you turn them on?

  4. I made the mistake of not including subtitles when I backed up Dances With Wolves and so whenever the Indians are talking, I don't have a clue what they're saying, so if there's any chance that any part of the movie is in a foreign language, you want to include them.
