Till last week I was overwhelmed with all the options available for dvd burning, but was convinced by some forum members here that it isn't that bad. Got my Plextor external 8x writer and yesterday ripped my first dvd with DvdShrink. Now the final step is to burn it onto a blank dvd media.
With the Plextor I got the Roxio Easy CD/DVD creator, which hasn't got good opinions on this site and I agree from my experience with the software in past for CD Burning. In fact, I am not even planning to install the Roxio on my machine. One good option I know is Nero 6 (upgrade from my 5.5 OEM). But I wanted to know what other good burning softwares are recommended - especially freeware. I wanted to try out couple of DVD burns before I decide to keep the Plextor and/or make further investment into payware softwares.
What are some recommendations on good DVD media and the sources to get them from?
Thanks in advance.
