Hi there!
I just started authoring my first ever DVD-R using DVDMaestro and recording with Nero (and later with DVDDecrypter). All the media used worked great with my Creative DVD-ROM drive, with my parents’ standalone player (Sony NS-325) and, of course, with my GSA-4040B burner. After getting no luck with my old standalone player (Sony DVP-S560D), I start trying to change media brands, formats and burners, and then I realized that my standalone player was able to play flawlessly two DVD-Rs (my wedding) that were not authored by me.
Using Nero’s disc information, I found something different between these two DVD-Rs and the ones authored by myself. My DVD-Rs have one session with a single big track while the “good” DVD-Rs have one session with a track for every file stored.
So mine are like this:
Session 01
+ Track 01 UDF/ISO9660 (mode 1)
And the good DVD-Rs look like this:
Session 01
+ Track 01 UDF/ISO9660 (mode 1)
+ Track02 Data (mode 1)
+ Track03 Data (mode 1)
…
+ Tracknn Data (mode 1)
I’ve already burned seven DVD-Rs changing every option I was able to find. Is there a way to tell Nero or any other burner to record my DVD-Rs with the “good” format?
Thanks!
