I have managed to create several DVD+RWs that play great on my own DVD player (Sony DVP-NS430) and others. However, I am having problems playing them on a Sony DVP-NS305.
The problem only occurs if I have added a music track, and the music is really distorted when playing on the NS305 player. I have had the problem with Sonic MyDVD, ULead DVD Pictureshow (demo) and now with Adobe Encore.
I had hoped that it was a software issue, but now think it is a compatability problem with the DVD player. Could it be a problem with the Mpeg2 IBP settings (data rate etc)? Are there any other things I can tweak?
If anyone can suggest how I should go about tackling this problem or where I can find out more info, I would be extremely grateful.
Cheers
Iain

'Distorted audio' is usually caused by it being 'too loud'. Maybe that player has a better/louder internal amp which is overmodulating the audio.
Just a thought.
Good luck. -
Thanks for the response, it is a possibility however the problem doesn't occur with normal retail DVDs, only self made disks when a music track is used. I suppose I will just need to go through all the options when building the disk.
