A pround newbie at "DVD Writer" stuff here

I'm a proud owner of my new OptoRite 4x burner. Model DD0201, and I
finally got it to make my first DVD+R disk.

    Ok, boring .. .. ..

I can't seem to easily re-format a RW disk inside Nero (that came w/ my
unit) Nero keeps telling me .. ..

Here is my media: DVD+R and the jewel case has a [RW] DVD+R at
the bottom. I was told as long as I saw this, it was re-writeable media.
    The brand name is: FujiFilm

I'm stumped on this one. I must be missing something here.
But, thanks for any advice/direction on this guys.

  2. if it doesnt say dvd+RW then it isnt re-writable. To erase a RW disc in nero, at the top click on Recorder, then click Erase ReWritable Disc.

My drive came w/ MyDVD and it doesn't look too bad - not as complicated
as I thought it would be. But, I'd still like to try something that is freeware
and that will make my VIDEO_TS folder w/ VOBs in them. Anyways..

This is an exciting endeavor, working w/ DVD media :P

Well, what I wanna do (if you don't mind my saying so) is create a simple
Star Wars menu w/ pics, and have a short theam/music to it while
it shows all the pics. Nothing really extravegant or harsh in music, just a
little quiet/calm-like but still draws attention.

I'll give you an example.. If you have the Spiderman DVD disk, head over
to the Audio Setup for a taste of softness.

I wanna give my Star Wars menu a similar "softness" to it.
