Hey There,
I'd firstly just like to appologises for posting something that I'm sure must have been posted before,but I cant quite find what Im after.

Im getting video lag on every type of file but usually not divx videos.The video will fall behind,then SOMETIMES catch back up.The same file will do this at different times each time i watch it.
My problem varies to everybody elses I can find because these work fine on other friends computers,so i dont think my solution is any type of encoding repair work.
ive got the divx bundle codecs,the ffsshow codecs. Ive tried WMP ,divx player, BS player. Ive also tried ending every process and background app i can manage to end before i play them.
These are my specs if relevant-
Geforce4 mx440-se ,380 ram , P3 1000ghz ,xp pro ,cmedia soundcard.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.
