  1. Hello, I have an Abit NF7-S Rev. 2.0 with a 2500+ Barton not overclocked. At idle it runs about 40'c and while on the internet it gets up to 51'c. Is this normal? I get too scared to play games or do anything that takes full load since I cant monitor it while doing so.

    Thanks

That is a very normal temp, nothing to worry about.

  3. Absolutely normal, My XP2800 ran at 80 degrees C with the crappy standard heat sink. Changed the sink went down to 60 degrees. Looking to get it lower with a better heatsink and fan which I will get after christmas.

According to AMD ~90 degrees Celsius is considered hot. I see mine peak at 54 after hours of encoding with #1 running at a few degrees cooler than the other one.
