  1. Hi, I have a mpeg2 file (720*480 29.97fps;but audio is compressed at 192?!) that I would like to convert to a .vob so that it can be stored as a dvd-video. But sadly, I do not know how to go about doing it, and what software should be used. Please help. Thanks.

  2. Download Rejig from the Tools section, that should be all you need.
It might be worth reading a few of the user guides if you want some starting out hints.

  3. Thanks! One thing I've read while awaiting for replies. I understand that I might not have to go through a whole rough proceedure as my video is already at 720*480 29.97fps which is the standard for a NTSC DVD-video or that of a vob. However its my audio that needs processing. How do I demux the audio from my mpeg2 so that I can reencode it (with what tool) and how do I put the audio back into the video track so it becomes a .vob?

  4. You can demux the video and audio with Rejig too. It can then be processed (I assume you just need to resample to 48KHz) and then do the DVD authoring with Rejig. To resample the audio, I use Goldwave to do the resampling and then save as a 16bit stereo WAV, I then use BeSweet to convert the WAV back to an MP2 or AC3 for authoring.

All these programs can be found in the Tools section.
