    I have upgraded 2 new program after registartion has been accepted i get:

    Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

    process id=oxf5c (3952) thread id=0cf64(3940)


    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Can you post a screenshot of the error?

    Hi Chris,

    I have the same problem after upgrading just now.

    I tried your other suggestions:

    uninstalled framework 1.1
    reboot
    uninstalled svcd2dvd
    reboot
    installed framework 1.0
    reboot
    installed framework 1.1
    reboot
    installed svcd2dvd
    reboot
    registerscreen, registration succesfull!

    When I start up SVCD2DVD i get these error messages:


    after clicking on cancel I get this:


    please help.

    are you using the latest version from the users area?

    Latest version: SVCD2DVD v1.51.2

    if not redownload the msi file please.

    yes Chris, because of the new version it all got messed up I guess. I bought the program yesterday, and it worked fine till I got a message that I should download the new version.

    Do you have any suggestion what I might try next?

    Yes. please download the following file & put it in your SVCD2DVD folder & restart the program:

    http://www.svcd2dvd.com/releases/Xceed.FileSystem.dll (do right click save as)

    Please reply straight away if you no longer get the error msg.

    It worked for me as that file is "registered" on my PC. So the fact that it wasn't in the installer was not picked up. Please call me a numpty......

    have all the install problems been sorted out yet for svcd2dvd , as i want to pay my £10 and get it but not if im going to have a big headache trying to get it to work ????

    All is a very big word it like say 100% error free or 100% sure which isn't even possible. But right now all the install problems are gone and if you find any you can always come back to this forum and will help you out.

  16. No difference same error. When i go to shut down my computer the svcd2dvd program doesnt respond. The end program nag comes up. I used svcd2dvdmpg without any problems.

    vinny. I have resolved this. Please redownload the msi file from the User Area.
