    I want to record an avi from my pc to a VHS tape with my DVC2, what i have to encode it as, I have the latest Version of TMPGenc.

    you shouldn't have to encode as anything
    click on the vhs icon to initalize
    import video to the media work space
    double click your media to play
    press record on the vcr

    it doesn't do avi's how do i conver to MPEG2 ?
