i just finished backing up my first dvd. i have the disc for "a walk to remember". it was dvd9 disc, but i used dvdshrink to make it fit my dvd+r. it worked fine, but i am trying to figure out how in the world, the full movie with commentary, and the regular full movie both fit on the disc?
i thought they could only hold 2 hrs? the full feature plays fine all the way through, but so does the commentary version. how does this happen, i didnt think it would fit on their. that is over 3 1/2 hrs. of footage.

LOL, the commentary is just a seperate audio track. So its just an add-on to the movie. Its not a whole additional video stream. Plus, that 2-hours limit is only for home standalone dvd recorders, which cannot change the bitrate (unless you choose extended play or something). Its all a matter of bitrate, not length of movie. I hope this made sense, cause i have no idea what i just wrote.-Yar, matey!-
