  1. Hi.
I know that overburning writes on the space that the gap and lead-out would normally be using, but i want to try to overburn even more. Is there any program or technique that can take some of the lead-in and that gap, or would it make the CD a coaster? I am particularly interested in overburning VCDs (mode2, XA) beyond the 83 minutes (approx.) I can do now w/ CDRDAO in VCDEASY.

    Thanks.

I've tried to burn past 83 min. on several different brands of media, with the same result - the disc runs out of space (but does still play o.k.). The only way you are going to get more on a disc is to buy 90 or 99 min. CD-R's and burn to those. Other than that, you're out of luck on normal 80 Min. CD-R's. I had some VCD's that I needed just 30 more seconds...bummer, they wouldn't make it.

  5. Seeing as im UK based, i dont deal in US prices, but the difference is very little when buying in bulk (eg 25+ discs). Typical pricing from an online retailer are 35-40 cents when buying in quantities of 50-200, dont know how much you currently pay for CDR (possibly around 25-35Cents)
