I've read some people who want to edit more with the E60 can use a relatively cheap Panasonic player that will play RAM discs and dub their RAMs to DVD-R.
My question is will that result in any noticeable loss in quality? Mainly using XP or SP mode?
Also, I've read that when dubbing from tape or Lasrdisc, you should use the Yellow composite cable and not the S-Video.
What about dubbing from another DVD? Should you still use the Yellow?
I'm sorry for all the questions, it's just that I've been lurking on this board for many months now, and I've finally gotten a DVD recorder.

Also, if you try to flex record something on a new disc, and set it for 30 minutes, what would happen? Would it fill the disc with the 30 minutes? Is that possible?

have no problems using rams or -r's
in the 50 though, use f-rec all the time
tried for 45 minutes though, and it
still left 15 empty using f-rec, on xp mode
i had had it set on...i hope this helps
