  1. Ran into a problem. I tried burning a copy of SWAT DVD (legal US released copy) using DVDBackup and DVD2ONEX on my iMac superdrive. The DVD2ONEX does not compress the movie whatsoever. The Movie remained 1hour and 57minutes long, even after tweaking the settings on DVD2ONEX. I even made the movie go thru DVD2ONEX twice to no avail. I was copying the movie at variable setting only, and I believe 4444mb at it's lowest. Are the newer released movies encoded in such a way that we cannot copy them? HELP!

Why are you trying to make the movie's playback time shorter?

Which version of DVD2OneX are you using?

How did you get the movie one day early? Why on earth did you want it?

  4. Oh, no ERROR messages were posted during ripping and compressing. The only problem was that Roxio Toast Titanium would not allow me to burn the disc because the data was too big. Using DVD2ONEX 1.2.1 version.

your particular disk probably doesnt hold the total amount you set dvd2one to

did you use defualt size of 4472?
or the user defined of 4444 like I suggest for most dvdr brands

if its still to big just knock it down to 4400.

not all brands of dvdr hold the same amount.

BUT YOU STILL DIDNT SAY HOW YOU GOT IT 1 DAY EARLY!!!!!!!!!!

  6. My local Mom & Pop rental place rents out the new releases a few days early to their old customers I actually rented it On the 23rd! In regards to the settings, I have tried 4400, and even lower, but the movie still remained at 1 hour 57 minutes, and Roxio Toast won't cut me any slack to burn it Oh, another problem I have, is not being able to do a 1:1 DVD copy. I have wasted about 4 discs already, and too hesitant to experiment any further.

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning.

    ahhh....

its all clear now.... your not going about the dvd to dvdr process properly.

However, since this is a rented disk im not going to tell you how what you should do to solve the problem becase your actions are ILLEGAL!!!!!!!.

SHAME ON YOU for copying rented discs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you broke the agreement you accpeted when clicking POST REPLY

Warez includes downloaded copyrighted movies, movies that are not yet released on VHS/DVD and copying rented movies.
