Error with DVDxCopy Platinum

I just installed this program and attempted to backup my first movie. It got through the reading part fine, but when it asked for the blank media it gave me an error saying that it could not read the VIDEO_TS.IFO. And when I check the log file it states that the files were too large to fit onto the DVD -/+R. I went through the splitting process in the initial steps so I'm scratching my head as to what I am doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered.

I HAte DVDXCOPY. Good for coasters/Frisbees though.
USE DVD Decryptor & DVD2One or Shrink.
