    hi there!
    ive been using tmpgenc the latest version.
    but ive been encoding a startrek epsiode and it plays fine until about half way through when the sound go's out of sync by 7 seconds.
    im trying to change an avi file using windows 98!

    ive tried using virtualdub but it wont let me change it for some reason! (it doesnt give an error message)

    please could someone tell me how to fix this please?

    don't worry when you burn it to a vcd it will look ok.

    I've found that remultiplexing the file after TMPG is done with it generally fixes the problem.

    If it's progressive, as in it gets worse and worse as time goes on, you have to use audio tools and trial and error to resync it
