I'm sure this topic is on here somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I have a DVD+R/RW drive in my PC and got some DVD-R media for X-mas. Can they be used in my drive or do I need to go exchange them? Thanks in advance!

Ok, Im not sure if this is a goof question or if you are serious, but I'll answer anyway. Your drive in ur PC will play a +R AND a -R dvd. Playing a dvd and recording a dvd are two different issues. It makes no difference what format the media is between + and -, the drive will play either, now trecording is a dif story, but thats not ur question.
YES< THEY WILL PLAY -
I'm not sure where you see him use the word "play". He says "Can I use them" Since he has a DVD-Burner and you have to burn them first before they will "play", I "think" he wants to know if he can burn DVD-R media on a DVD+R/+RW burner and the answer is no.Originally Posted by jaxxboss

Yes, I was wondering if I can burn the -r with my +r drive. Sorry for the confusion. Thought that was the answer I was gonna get, just wanted to make sure.
Thanks!
