  1. Hi,

I have made my wedding photo album DVD (1.5 GBytes) with MemoriesOnTV and my wedding video DVD (2.5 GBytes) with Pinnacle Studio 8. Both of the programs generated own menus for the DVDs. The disks are perfect for me, only problem I do not want to have them on two DVD disks.

I am looking for a program which is able to combine the two disks to one DVD keeping both of the original menus and generate a main menu above them.

    Is that possible somehow?

Thanks for the help in advance.

  3. Those existing menus won't import into any authorizing program I've ever hear of. But since you created them in the first place it's an easy remake right. You did it once, so just do it again.

DVD Complete is now defunk I hear but it's got a fairly easy to learn menu creating process. You can have different background music for any menu you want and create as many deep as you need with and without thumbnails (if you know how to). Other than this program I don't know of any authorizing program thats lets the user have as much freedom.

Just copy those VOB files back onto your HDD with Windows Explorer. Thats the easy part. But using both of those existing menus in a single DVD project? I'm afraid you going to be out of luck. lol

    Good luck

I think that you may have to redo the menus. It will be possible to have both "movies" as such on the one dvd but you will need to use something like TMPGEnc DVD Author to create a topline Menu which links to two smaller menus - one for each movie. As far as I know there is no way to integrate your pre-authored menus because both discs would link to VTS_01_1.VOB etc.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. I think it is possible.

The Video_ts./vob/ifo/bup are normally blank but it can be used as a top menu to choose between different Title sets (ie your 2 existing menus). The Video_ts is sometimes used on DVDs as a main 'Choose your langauge' type menu...(ie You choose English and it jumps to a Title set Menu thats in English or you choose Chinese and...etc).

Im not that sure how to go about it all though. I did try and do something very similar to what you require some time back but only had partail success. !

    Hope this helps anyway

  6. If you don't mind re-authoring one of the titles you can import a complete DVD as a second VTS in DVDLabProBeta1 - as long as the menu isn't in VIDEO_TS.VOB
