Ok. I have alot of videos on my computer that I have imported into WMP. I want to organize them by actor, but if I have to re-install windows I don't want to have to organize them all over again. I guess my question is can I backup the media library(not the files just the database that WMP creates)? If that isn't possible is there a way to edit the metadata of AVI files so that the actor, genre, ect can be stored within the files? I have tried WIndows Media Encoder but that won't up the avi's I have made.
Thanks!
