    I have an ATI AIW 9800 card installed. Just was given a Canon ZR65 digital camcorder for Christmas. Turns out my card only has composite and Svideo inputs not DV. I guess I need to isntall another card with a DV input if I am going to capture the camera files with no loss. Anyh suggestions on what I should do or what card I should get?

    For DV use most any Firewire card will do. They cost $25-$40US for a decent brand. You need a compatible Firewire cable also. Try DVIO or WinDV for DV transfer.
