I don't think it can be done within EazyVCD. However, you may be able to accomplish the task by ...
1. RIP via EazyVCD for later encoding by changing OUTPUT TYPE to ONLY RIP VOB's.
2. Edit the VOB directly if possible via VOBEdit saving in the same directory with the same name.
3. Then open the EVT file created when you RIPPED VOB ONLY in EasyVCD and convert.
Give it a tryu and post up your results. -
Thanks, I really appreciate it Ripper, as soon as I try it i will post my results.

Here's another utility (MPEG2CUT) that will allow you to cut VOB files directly. Seems alot easier than VOBEdit.
Download from below ...
http://mitglied.lycos.de/darkav/download/MPEG2Cut-1.15.rar
This utility uses DVD2AVI to do it's work.
1. Open the VOB
2. Use the slider to move to the desired start frame
3. Use [ to mark the start point
4. Use the slider to move to the desired end frame
5. Use the ] to mark the end point
6. Use FILE/SAVE SELECTION to save the VOB file with the original name to the original folder where EazyVCD saved it.
Then use Eazy VCD to open the EVT file and try to convert the edited VOB. -
Ripper, I understand your directions on how to cut the VOB's, but I have FOUR VOB's, each with some of the movie on each one. Can I join all of the VOB's together some how, and then choose my starting and ending point of the movie? Or will I have choose ONE OF THE FOUR VOB'S (SAY THE THIRD ONE) and split it from there? Thanks

You can merge the VOB's using a utility called ...
Drum roll please ...
VOBMerge -- http://www.winload.de/download/18312/Multimedia/DVD_Videobearbeitung/VOB.Merge-2.01.html
Works fine for me. Just add the desired VOB's (make sure they are arranged in the order you want) and press the MERGE button.
However you may have to use another tool, IFOEdit to create a new IFO file if required (i.e. for use with DVD2SVCD). Just open the new VOB files in IFOEdit and press the CREATE IFO FILE button.
EazyVCD works with the VOB directly, so if that is your desired tool, the IFO file is not needed.
------------------------
The EVT files is created when you RIP the files to the HDD. It should reference the VOB name and location on your HDD. It should not know what is in the VOB or how long it is. You merely put the merged/edited VOB back in the same directory with the same name and it should go from there.
BTW -- this EazyVCD stuff I am suggesting is all theoretical. While I have not actually tried it, in theory it could work.
It sure does seem like a lot of work to accomplish something that can be better done with other utilities.
