Extracting Musical Score from DVD

Im new to all of this but I want to extract the music from my buffy and angel dvds without having to listen to the talking all over it. Is this possible to do? I can extract the audio from the dvd but I want to split that up into 2 files, one with the talking and one with the music.

doubtful, unless there is an alternate audio track with just the score. if there is, just rip that audio stream and convert it to the format of your choice.

otherwise, you'd end up ripping an audio track that has the score and the dialog / sound effects in it as well, which would be near-impossible to remove.
