  1. I apologise in advance if this question has been asked before!

What is the difference in disk between a commercial DVD and a DVD+R/RW?
Like why will a commercial DVD play in all players and a DVD+R/RW will only play in some?

Thank you in advance for you time!

Basically, it is they they are made. The commercial DVD is made from a glass master, and pressed by a machine. DVDs±R(W) are burned by a laser to create. This subtle difference makes the compatibility problems come up.
    Hello.
