  1. Hey guys i was wondering if there is a way to create a .DAT file or like a fake VCD within your hardrive from a .bin
    without BURNING A CD?

the reason im doing this is that i want to ADD a AUTORUN.INF command to the directory and THEN burn the VCD

I tried following the steps to Creating a Autorun for VCD in VCDHELP but its missing some steps and is very confusing
but i got the autorun file ready and waiting.

IF there is an easier step then this then let me know alrite ppl? thanks

  2. If you use Nero, you can just drag additional files onto the VCD filesystem before you burn it...

If you use VCDImager, you can manually edit the XML file to add additional files to the filesystem as well (this method is a bit more involved).

    Regards.

  3. Hey thanks
yea i have used nero but can it like create the directory
eg) cdda, cdi, ext, karokie, mpegav, segment, vcd,

out of a BIN file without burning yet ? then i can click and dragg the autorun file onto it?

and bout the xml editing yea that does sound more complex but if you have the time is there an example of that xml code anywhere id like to see that.

    thanks

Just use winimage. load the bin and it will show you all the files and folders and you can do whatever you want with them.

There are lots of programs which can do this, isobuster, maybe binchuncker... I cant think of them all.
