Does anyone know, how could I check if my DVD-player is region free. I have a Sony DVP-NS330 dvd player, its said that it can be turned into region free in here (dvdrhelp.com), but when I bought it, then on the description it said that it is already region free player. So, I just want to know, if it really is region free, so is there any way that I can check it???

    Please reply soon.

  2. Yep, try a region locked DVD on it. Rent anything from Disney at
    your local video rentals.

  4. If you don't want to watch dvd's from other regions, why bother?
If you buy, for instance from Amazon, you can run into a DVD with another region-code, only that is when it starts to matter, is it not?

you can always use the code-hack to go into your factory-settings, and find out how it is set-up now, my finlux has region 0 as region-free. Another thing; it was advertised as being region-free, well; it wasn't!
    But the hack works fine!
