  1. Hey everyone,
I've had my Pioneer DVC-503 player for awhile now. I'm still going to hold onto it but I need a second one, plus it doesn't play my DVDR's very well. The main thing that I am looking for in this player is to be able to play DVDR's very well. My current one makes the picture appear "shaky". While this might be part of the medias fault, I still think I need another player. I have tried two different medias (Liquid Video (Optodisk) DVD-R's and TDK DVD+R's) in my current player with the same result from both. When I hook a TV up to my computer and play the DVD's through the computer there is no problems. So, I think that pretty much narrows it down to the player.

What are your suggestions on a good DVD Player with great DVDR support and playback quality. It should be able to playback DVD-R, DVD+R, and not very important, but it would be nice if it did +-RW as well.

    Thanks!
    -Eric

  2. I should mention that the video that is on my DVDR's is old home video as well as old Black and White TV shows (from TVLAND).
